Teddy Ruben from Saguaro wins the Player of the Week award again with big game against AJ

*Saguaro QB Teddy Ruben gets the nod again for his outstanding performace against Apache Junction. He had 18 carries for 330 yards and 3 TDs and was 10 of 15 for 173 yards and 3 more scores.

QBs

*Cactus Shadows super sophomore Bryce Kinsler had 353 yards and 3 TDs in a loss to Queen Creek.

*In a loss to Mt. Pointe, Perry's John Uhlorn went 23 of 34 for 317 yards and 2 TDs.

*Back from injury, Chandler's Brett Hundley passed for 147 yards and 2 TDs and rushed for 162 yards and 3 TDs against Mt. View.

*Washington QB DeVonte Smythe makes the list yet again with yet another 300 yard performance. Against Thunderbird we went 21 of 31 or 302 yards and 4 TDs.

*Page's Ryan Keisling had 5 scores Friday night.

*Salpointe's Jordan Scelfo had 259 yards and 3 TDs against Tucson.

*Tucson High backup Cam Volk stepped up and passed for 332 yards and 2 TDs in a loss to Salpointe.

RBs

*Great rushing performances in the NWC/SCA game. Junior Casey Jahn from Northwest rushed for 154 yards and 3 TDs on top of returning an INT for a score. In a losing effort, Chauncey Wright from SCA carried the ball 27 times for 209 yards and 2 scores.

*Queen Creek's Chim Nga is continuing his breakout year. He rushed for 235 yards and 2 TDs in a win over Cactus Shadows. In the same game Cameron Larson of Cactus Shadows had 123 yards rushing, 80 yards receiving (6 catches), 2 TDs and 6 tackles.

*Notre Dame Prep's Korey Jones rushed for 148 yards and 3 TDs in a win over Higley.

*Horizon's Matt Jones had 4 scores against Desert Mountain.

*Same goes for DeAnthony Easley from Millennium, he had 4 scores against La Joya.

*Salpointe's Johnny Pena rushed for 179 yards and 4 scores against Tucson High.

*ALA's Ben Grams carried the rock 34 times for 276 yards and 3 TDs against Phoenix Christian.

*Cody Gibson from Pinnacle had 230 yards and 4 scores in a win over St. Mary's.

*Sunnyside's Manny Vera rushed for 186 yards and 3 TDs in a win over Rincon.

Receivers

*Cactus Shadows' John Leonard caught 14 passes for 122 yards and 1 TD against Queen Creek.

*Tucson's Chris Campas caught 15 passes for over 200 yards.
