Bowen Makes the Call

Bowen Makes the Call

One of Arizona's top OLs, Brennan Bowen of Avondale Westview, makes commitment

Avondale (Ariz.) Westview center Brennan Bowen had a tremendous career, earning all-state honors three straight years and capping off his senior year as the Desert West Conference Player of the Year.

Division-two offers started pouring in when D1 programs shied away because of his height (6-0). Adams State got a fantastic player when Bowen committed to them over CSU-Pueblo.

"It just felt like the perfect fit," Bowen says. "The facilities are phenomenal and the coaches really have the program going in the right direction. I felt comfortable with the head coach, Marty Heaton, and I really enjoyed Coach Wasinger and Coach Alconcel."

Bowen continues, "The players were great guys, the whole trip I could go talk to any of them and it felt like hanging out with old friends."

Brennan carries a near perfect GPA and academics played a big role in his commitment to ASU. "From a student perspective, I really enjoy the personal education you get in a smaller college and I love the community. I felt like it was just an overall great fit."
