Wolves win in rain shortened game. Chandler beats Mesquite 34-0 to improve to 3-0

Recap

A game against two top 10 undefeated D1 teams ended up getting ugly quick and the game was called just after halftime due to weather.

The Chandler defense forced a Mesquite 3 and out and the offense got right to work kicking a field goal to take an early 3-0 lead.

Another 3 and out and a few plays later QB Darrell Garretson hit WR Javon Williams from 22 yards out to go up 10-0. Garretson hit Lloyd Mills for 39 yards to set up the score.

RB Paul Perkins scored two times before the midpoint of the second quarter and the route was on.

It was 24-0 and then the storm hit. Thunder and lightning forced the officials to end the game just after halftime but not before the Wolves added 10 more points.

Final 34-0.

Bottomline

Mesquite has some talent but they suited up half the players that Chandler did and had many kids playing both ways. Chandler has TONS of athletes running around.

Game Ball

A lot of points scored but let's go with the Chandler defense. They had a shut out for the third straight week.
