Friday Night Phenoms: Week 3

The weather cut short many games but still some good performances, see who was player of the week inside

Player of the Week

*Desert Edge wide receiver Anthony Fletcher had 6 catches for 222 yards and 2 TDs in first half against Youngker.

QBs

*Gilbert QB Mitch Trail passed for 292 yards and 2 TDs in a win over Mesa.

*In one half of football, Boulder Creek's Trevor Bonafasi went 12 of 18 for 206 yards and 2 TDs.

*Buckeye's Alex Alvarez threw for 321 yards and 4 TDs against Parker. HIS WR Jason Bell caught 6 passes for 141 yards and 3 TDs.

*Scottsdale Prep QB Aidan Wright had 5 TDs and 227 yards against Salt River. His WR Matt Munsil had 6 grabs for 175 yards and 3 TDs

RBs

*NW Christian RB Casey Jahn rushed for 215 yards and 4 TDs versus SCA. He is very close to breaking th all time rushing mark.

*Tolleson's Eric Ivy makes the list for the first time after going for 171 and 3 scores against North.

*Queen Creek's Shaq Johnson rushed 33 times for 208 yards and 3 TDs in a win over Perry.

*Let's give it up for Westview's OL as they paved the way for 6 rushing TDs in one half of football against Maryvale.

*Saguaro's D.J. Foster continued his great performances with 4 scores against Tempe.

*Tbird junior Kani Benoit had 169 and 2 TDs Friday.

*Blue Ridge's Danny Groebner rushed for 144 yards and kicked a 35 yards FG against Snowflake.

*ALA RB Alfred Erives had 9 carries for 166 yards and 3 scores.

*Phoenix Christian RB Austin Cundiff had 11 carries for 221 yards and 5 scores against Westwind Prep.

*Junior RB Dustin French from Poston Butte had 182 yards and 4 TDs in a big win over Higley.

Receivers

*Brophy's Devon Allen had a TD run, catch and punt return for a score.
