Two RBs share player of the week honors, see who else made the list

Player of the Week

Going to go with co-players of the week and not for accomplishments they made Friday but for what they have done this season. Congrats to Mark Dogbah from Greenway and Dominque Drake from Buena for breaking their school rushing records. Dogbah rushed for 281 yards and 4 TDs while Drake had 275 and 4 scores as well.

QBs

*Pinnacle's Mike Sanders passed for 291 yards and 2 TDs versus Desert Mountain.

*DM's Kyle Allen threw for 339 yards and 3 TDs in the same game.

*Junior Luke Rubenzer from Saguaro threw for 239 yards and 3 TDs and ran for 140 yards and 1 TD versus Arcadia. Christian Kirk was on the receiving end of 135 of thse yards and 2 TDs and also returned a punt for a TD.

*Paradise Valley's Ryan Finley threw for 355 yards and 3 TDs and rushed for another in a win over Cactus Shadows.

*Tyler Bruggman was an efficient 9 of 10 for 193 yards and 3 TDs versus Westwood.

*Deer Valley's Devon Palomino threw for 400+ yards in a loss to Ironwood.

*Notre Dame's Nick Duckworth threw 4 TDs and ran for another on Friday.

*Casa Grande's Nick Elliott makes the list for the first time. In a loss to Higley he threw for 275 yards and 2 TDs and ran for 169 yards.

*Chaparral's Brad Schencker threw for 311 yards and 6 TDs in a win over Horizon. Three TDs went to Jake Roh.

*Apollo's Jordan Gungl threw for 247 yards and 4 TDs in a win over Fairfax.

*Trevor Browne's Jack Peru rushed for 162 yards and 3 TDs and also had 2 two-point conversions and made an INT on defense.

*Buena QB Rafeal Adames had 208 yards and 3 TDs. Two TDs went to Ben Sims who also had 105 receiving yards.

RBs

*Pinnacle's Josh Hoekstra had 243 hard earned yards and a TD in a win over Desert Mountain.

*Mt. Pointe's garette Craig had 3 rushing TDs and 247 total yards against Mt. View.

*Kabian Evans from Chandler ran for 197 yards and 2 TDs versus Gilbert.

*Sean Schweichler from Williams Field had 3 TDs against Poston Butte.

*Matt Guida from Queen Creek continues his great season. He rushed for 244 yards.

*Corona's James Contes had 173 yards and 4 TDs against Mesquite.

*In a loss to Apollo, Fairfax's Brandon Sellers ran for 208 yards and 2 TDs.

*Marana Mt. View's Richie Estrada had 6 TDs against Flowing Wells.

Special Teams/Defense/Other

*The Seton Catholic defense forced 7 turnovers in a win over Tempe, including 5 INTs.

*Nogales DE Justin Felix scored 2 defensive TDs.

*Cienega's Diavanni Johnson had a kick return TD and INT TD.
