Citrus QB Bernard Porter - In Citrus' 32-18 win over El Camino last weekend, Porter was outstanding, completing 23 of 30 passes for 319 yards with 4 touchdowns and one interception. The freshman has been a real find for the Owls this season, leading them to a 6-2 record while hitting on 62.2% of his passes for 1,753 yards with 17 touchdowns and six interceptions.
L.A. Pierce QB Nick Arbuckle - Arbuckle is another outstanding freshman to keep an eye on. So far this season, the talented signal-caller has completed 70.4% of his passes for 2,171 yards with 24 touchdowns and eight interceptions. Last week he had a huge game for the Brahmas, going 23 of 34 for 401 yards with five touchdowns and an interception while leading his team to a 43-20 win over Antelope Valley.
East Los Angeles QB Aaron Cantu - Cantu had another solid game for ELAC last week, completing 34 of his 63 attempts for 376 yards, four touchdowns and one interception while leading his team to a 40-27 win over Chaffey. In seven games this season, Cantu has completed 63.5% of his passes for 2,602 yards, 24 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
Santa Rosa QB David Sowards - Santa Rosa lost 34-31 to DeAnza, but Sowards had a huge day as he did his best to keep the Bear Cubs in the game, going 33 of 61 for 458 yards with three touchdowns and two picks. This season the freshman has completed 53.8% of his passes for 1,549 yards with 16 touchdowns and five interceptions.
Modesto QB TeeJay Gordon - Gordon did what he could, going 22 of 34 for 294 yards with two touchdowns while rushing for 55 yards and another score, but Modesto still fell 56-49 to American River.
Sierra QB Myles McKee - The sophomore signal-caller was a big reason the Wolverines pulled out a 23-22 win over College of the Sequoias last week as he hit on 18 of his 33 attempts for 341 yards with three touchdowns and an interception.
Diablo Valley QB Quinn Kaehler - Kaehler did all he could to keep DVC in the game, going 29 of 44 for 310 yards and three touchdowns, but in the end, the Vikings ended up falling 34-27 to College of the Siskiyous. While leading his team to a 4-4 record, the sophomore has completed nearly 62% of his passes for 3,123 yards with 31 touchdowns and seven picks.
Feather River QB Adrian Smith - Chabot handed the Golden Eagles a 40-33 loss, but don't blame Smith. The sophomore quarterback did all he could to keep his team competitive in the game, going 21 of 38 for 380 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions.
Laney QB Charles Cobbs - The freshman had a solid game in Laney's 35-24 win over Merced last Saturday, going 17 of 27 for 273 yards and two scores.
Reedley QB Sean Stell - Stell had a huge game last weekend, going 31 of 46 for 392 yards with five touchdowns and one pick as Reedley downed West Hills by a score of 42-24. The freshman gun-slinger has been a big reason that the Tigers have been a tough out this season, completing 61.3% of his passes for 1,907 yards with 20 touchdowns and eight interceptions while leading his team to a 3-5 record.
Gavilan QB Omar Kharroub - While leading his team to a 44-20 win over West Valley, the sophomore quarterback went 31 of 48 for 415 yards with five touchdowns and one interception.
Garden City QB Nick Marshall - Marshall threw for 463 yards and one touchdown while rushing for 205 yards and four scores in the Broncbusters' 54-47 loss to Coffeyville last week. This season, the dual-threat quarterback has completed 59% of his passes for 2,660 yards with 17 touchdowns and 17 interceptions while rushing for 930 yards and 17 touchdowns as well.
Kilgore QB Tanner Tausch - The freshman account for 472 yards of offense and five touchdowns -- going 23 of 30 for 450 yards with four touchdowns and rushing for 22 yards and a score -- in a 45-24 win over Tyler. While leading his team to a 8-1 record, Tausch has completed 61.5% of his passes for 1,487 yards with 15 touchdowns and eight picks.
Tyler QB Tyrik Rollison - Rollison battled all game long, going 19 of 40 for 358 yards with two touchdowns and four interceptions, but Tyler still lost to Kilgore 45-24. The Auburn bounceback continues to be one of the most impressive JUCO quarterback prospects in the country and has had a solid season, completing 59.9% of his passes for 2,799 yards with 21 yards and seven interceptions while rushing for 177 yards and five touchdowns on the season.
Iowa Western QB Jake Waters - Another ho-hum performance from Waters who went 21 of 26 for 389 yards and four touchdowns in the Reivers' 65-14 win over Ellsworth. Waters is super-accurate and has been that way all season completing 75.1% of his passes for 2,740 yards with 33 touchdowns and three interceptions.
East Mississippi QB Quez Johnson - Johnson had a big game on the stat sheet for the Lions going 25 of 44 for 238 yards and a touchdown while rushing for 139 yards and one touchdown but East Mississippi still lost 24-23 to Itawamba.
Arizona Western QB Tanner McEvoy - The Gauchos lost their first game of the season, falling to Glendale 34-33 in overtime, but McEvoy did all he could to keep his team in the game, going 17 of 30 for 224 and four scores while also rushing for 101 yards on 13 carries as well.
Itawamba QB Griff Loftis - The freshman was key in the Indians' 24-23 win over East Mississippi last week going 24 of 37 passing for 323 yards and two touchdowns with one interception in his team's 24-23 win over East Mississippi. Loftis earned MACJC Offensive Player of the Week honors for his efforts. For the season, Loftis has completed 62.4% of his passes for 1,716 yards with 13 touchdowns and 13 picks.
Glendale QB Dain McFarland - The sophomore signal-caller went 20 of 36 for 281 yards and two scores in Glendale's 34-33 OT win over Arizona Western.
