Tyler Williams
hit John Klass on a 25 yard TD pass to give the Nighthawks a 7-3 lead.
Both teams missed FGs on the final possession of the first half.
Ironwood Ridge set the tone of the second half, marching the field on their first drive and scoring on a Anthony Braunreiter TD run. 14-3.
The Ironwood Ridge defense came up with a score of their own in the 3rd. DE Scott Simmons intercepted Tre Grant's screen pass and returned it for a score. 20-3.
With the game all but over, Centennial struggled with penalties and protecting the passer, never getting in any type of rhythm. Braunreiter would score one more time in the 4th to give Ironwood Ridge a 27-3 victory.
Bottomline
Centennial had their chances early but as the game went on, Ironwood Ridge continued to turn the dial up. Centennial struggled to find any kind of groove in the second half.
Game Ball
Hands down going to give it to the Ironwood Ridge defense. They pressured the QB all night, ran all over the field and played relentless football.
