Bootleg Radio: Devon Allen Goes Deep

One of the fastest players in the country

The five finalists in the Devon Allen sweepstakes are UCLA, Stanford, Arkansas, Florida State, and Oregon. In this exclusive radio interview with The Bootleg's David Lombardi, the track star/wide receiver sheds light on his commitment and his future athletic goals. Allen also announces when he'll probably make his commitment.

Brophy Prep track star/wide receiver Devon Allen wants to continue excelling in two sports when he goes to college. The Arizona state record holder in the 110 and 300-meter hurdles, he's one of the fastest players in the country.

Allen told me that he thoroughly enjoyed his Stanford official visit this past weekend, commenting on the fact that he developed a bond not only with the Cardinal's football coaching staff, but also with hurdles coach Jody Stewart. He also provided some entertaining insight on Stanford outside linebacker and fellow Brophy Prep product Trent Murphy, whose younger brother is currently a freshman at his high school.

Stanford coaches Derek Mason and Lance Anderson are scheduled to pay an in-home visit to Allen tonight. Listen The Bootleg Radio's exclusive interview with the highly-touted prospect to hear where the Cardinal stands on his list of favorites. Allen's answer may interest you.
