One of the more exciting players on the gridiron last
year in the state of Arizona was WR Allante Battle from Desert Vista HS
(Phoenix, AZ). His contributions on the football field have drawn numerous
college coaches to his high school lately and Scout.com has found out from DV
head coach Dan Hinds that the 5-10 170 pound Battle has received offers from
Utah, Arizona, Arizona State and Oregon State.
Last season, Battle was named 1st team all region as a WR. He caught 18
passess for 496 yards and 4 TDs. He also got a good amount of carries on sweeps
and reverses and finished the year with 313 yards and 5 TDs on the ground. Here

Battle also contributed on defense as well as special teams. He was a
2nd team all region selection at CB and finished the year with 18 tackles and 2
fumble recoveries. As a return man he averaged nearly 26 yards per kick return

Allante Battle has something that you can't teach and that
is speed. He was a huge part of Desert Vista winning the 5A1 state title in
track. He won the 100 meters with a time of 10.64. He won the 400 meters with a
time of 47.17 and also won the 200 in 21.33. On top of that he was part of the
4x400 relay that took home the gold and the 4x100 relay that took second. Here
