Chandler High's Harold Bernard is a jack-of-all-trades for the Wolves, seeing playing
time at
running back, safety, corner and all special teams. He is the kind of player
that a coach wants on his team and it is no wonder that he is one of the
hotetst prospects in the state of Arizona.
Last year he recorded 55 tackles,
2 INTs and 1 sack on defense and rushed for 379 yards and 4 TDs on just 32
carries on offense but the 6-1 180 pound Bernard says that most schools are
recruiting him as a safety.
Bernard now holds offers from
Stanford, Oregon, Wyoming, San Diego State, Nevada, Colorado State, Air Force and Oregon State. He told Scout.com in a orevious
interview that, “Everyone is even but I am really feeling my Pac 10
offers.”
Bernard is solid in the classroom,
he reports a 3.7 cumulative grade point average including a 4.0 this past
semester. He scored a 1600 on his SAT and 1120 in the math and verbal sections.
Scout.com is the first to bring you footage of Bernard. He has one of
the longest highlights I have ever watched because he does so many things
and never leaves the field. Watch him cover kickoffs...impressive.
