memory?
"I have two football memories that really stick out, one
would be beating Gilbert on their homecoming to earn Coach McBurney his 100th
career win, or our last second drive against Highland to win Basha High School's
first 5A playoff game."
What are your goals for the upcoming
season?
"My goals for this season are to win state of course, win
region, and to be named first team all state at my position."
How are you preparing for the upcoming season? Will you attend
any camps this summer?
"I attended ASU, NAU, and UofA senior camps,
as well as I’m in FAST (speed training) as well as lifting every day."
What aspect of your game have you really worked hard to improve?
What area would you like to keep improving on?
"I’ve been working
on improving my footwork and speed. I’d essentially like to improve every aspect
of my game."
Who are some of your teammates that people need to
watch out for?
"People need to be on the look out for Troy Graham
(QB) and Stephen Sabin (OL/DL)."
Name one teammate you really
respect and why?
"I have a lot of respect for all of my teammates
but one guy that really sticks out is Jordan Brown. He came back from 3 knee
surgeries throughout high school and ended up earning a starting spot his senior
year."
What are your goals regarding playing football in
college?
"To earn a degree and earn a start for a winning program."
Who is currently recruiting you? Do you have any offers yet?
"I hear a lot from UofA, Illionois, Air Force, NAU, ASU, and Fresno State, I haven’t got any offers yet."
Would you consider staying
in state to play in college?
"Yes, its not the most important thing
to me but I wouldn’t mind it."
What would your top 5 college
choices be?
"NAU, UofA, UTEP, Fresno State, and Illinois."
Who is the best player you ever played against? Why?
"Corey Benson (Corona LB) might have been the toughest player I played
against, he played with a lot of speed and a lot of intelligence."
Name one opponent who you really respect and why?
"Sunnyside High School, they play really hardnosed football and they play hard
up or down, the whole game."
What other sports do you
play?
"I am also Basha’s heavywieght and I also throw shotput."
What are your best max lifts in the bench, squat, power clean
and 40 yard dash?
"Bench- 340, squat- 450, power clean- 265, 40-
5.3."
How do you think your coach would describe you as a
player?
"My coach would describe me as an intelligent player with a
lot of dedication, a strong player that is coachable and doesn’t argue with
something a coach asks of me."
What are your strengths and
weaknesses as a player?
"I’d say my strengths are my intelligence,
my strength, and my will power. My biggest weakness is my speed but its
something I’ve been working really hard on to improve this
off-season."
Who is your favorite athlete and why?
"Reggie White because he was simply the best and he had the best work ethic
and will of anyone I’ve watched play."
What is the best piece of
advice you have ever received?
"Go hard every play because the one
you take off could make or break the game."

expect from your team this season?
"Our team is going to be good.
We're going to play hard and fast every play."
What can a
college program expect from you as a player?
"A hard worker on and
off the field, as well as an intelligent player."

your GPA and SAT/ACT score?
"3.5 GPA, 1530 SAT and 24
ACT."
What will the main factors be when you choose a
school?
"Graduation percentage and the football program itself are
two of the most important factors to me."
