Help for our Athletes

If anyone is interested in helping the families of Dion Jordan and Jake Dunn, here are some ways to do so.

For those of you who have not heard, Chandler TE Dion Jordan was involved in an accident at his home this past weekend. Dion was badly burned and is currently in the Burn Center at Maricopa Medical Center. A lot of efforts have been made for Dion and Saguaro LB Jake Dunn to raise money and show support for the players and their families.

He cannot get any visitors yet but when he can the hours are 11am - 6pm.  If anyone would like to send cards signs or balloons to please do so the hospital encourages that to keep spirits high.  Also they are accepting faxed notes.

Jake is in a bit more serious condition and from what I have been told, cannot receive visitiors. when I get an address, I will post it so care packages can be sent.

A local sports bar, the Sugar Shack, has agreed to donate $3 from all pizzas sold in October if you go there and mention Jake's name. Please take time to have dinner at the Sugar Shack located at 6830 E. 5th Ave. (480-947-3447) or get a pizza to go. Tell whomever is there that you are there for Jake.

A car wash is being organized for Jake as well, stay tuned for the details.
