Junior highlights of the Pinnacle sackmaster, DE Andrew Hurley

After watching the first few minutes of Andrew Hurley's highlight film, I thought the Pinnacle star compared very similarly to Rusty Fernando from Apache Junction from last year.

Both are slender defensive ends, standing 6-3 and weighing in the 200 pound range and both get after the quarterback.

Last year, Hurley led the state in sacks with 18.5. He pitched in 40 tackles in route to 1st team all region honors. He uses a strong motor and his athletic ability to make plays from sideline to sideline. He was also an all region punter and is a 150 foot discus thrower.

According to Pinnacle head coach Dana Zupke, Hurley has been receiving interest from Wyoming, Stanford and several Ivy League programs but has no offers.
