Big time rushing highlights this week's Phenoms. Who else stood out in week three's action?
Player of the Week
Paradise Valley's
Jake Brown
was all over the field in their win over Arcadia Thursday night. He rushed for 295 yards and 4 TDs, kicked 5 PATs, caught a 2-point conversion, caught 2 passes for 17 yards, made 1 tackle and had half a sack.
QB
Brophy soph Chase Knox makes the list again. He was 12 of 15 for 170 yards and 3 TDs versus St. Mary's.
Kellis'
Chad Snider
had another big night. He passed for 296 yards and 6 TDs.
Kevin Radcliffe
from Desert Mountain passed for 155 yards and ran for 115 more and 2 scores.
Arcadia's
Colby Kirkegaard
went for 300+ and 3 TDs in their loss to PV.
Junior
Brett Hundley
from Chandler rushed fr 125 yards and 1 TD and threw 3 Tds in their win over Casa Grande.
In place of Travis Dean, Hamilton QB Kyren Poe went 9 of 11 for 237 yards and 4 TDs against Ironwood.
Justin Sieczkowski
from Seton remains hot, throwing for 4 more TDs against Independence.
Another first timer, Greenway's Zander McKean went 17 for 20 for 271 yards and 1 TD in their suprise loss to Cactus Shadows.
RB
Chaparral's
Dwayne Garrett
rushed for 188 yards and 3 TDs in their big win over Mt. View.
On just 13 carries, Brophy's
Max Leonesio
rushed for 153 yards and 3 scores.
Big night aso for PV's
Tyree Parker
. He had 250+ and 3 scores.
First time on Phenoms, Deer Valley RB Hayden McCellan rushed for 193 yards on 17 carries against South Mountain.
Great all around performance by Buckeye's
Randy Hale
, he caught a TD, ran for 2 more and returned an INT for a 4th.
WR
Hamilton's
Steven Hansen
caught 4 passes for 137 yards and 2 TDs.
Jesse Brantley
from Gilbert made 4 grabs for 190 yards and a score in their loss to Mountain Ridge.
