Washington or UCLA? Fans have been speculating for weeks which Pac 10 program four-star quarterback Brett Hundley would commit to.
The Chandler (Ariz.) product made his intentions known just moments ago at a press conference at the Chandler Center for the Arts.
Hundley made UCLA
fans happy when he committed to the Bruins.
"It is UCLA," Hundley
said.So what made the Bruins the choice for Hundley?
"I took two trips to Washington and UCLA," said Hundley. "UCLA felt
right. It was even on football and the schools at each, but in your heart,
it is there and it was UCLA."
The 6-4 215 pound Hundley had a superb junior year as he was named 1st team All-Arizona, the Fiesta Region Offensive Player of the Year as well as the Arizona's Gatorade Player of the Year. He threw for 1,517 yards and 16 TDs while throwing just 2 INTs. Hundley was also a threat on the ground, rushing for 1,208 yards and 12 more scores.
His performance has continued in 2010. Brett has passed for 578 yards and 6 TDs, helping his team to a 1-1 start.
While Hundley has the ability to beat defenses on the ground or through the air, he is not just an athlete playing quarterback. Brett shows the ability to make all of the throws at the college level, has great size, great feet and is a natural leader.
