Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman plays a brutal non-league schedule headlined by three games against Trinity League foes, arguably the top league in the nation. The toughest team in the Trinity is Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco and the two teams will go at it on September 26 at Gorman. Bosco is led by the nation's top quarterback prospect in UCLA commit Josh Rosen. They have a talented but young receiver corp so look for elite junior running back Sean McGrew to carry the load early. Big offensive lineman Zach Robertson is a national recruit and talented juniors D.J. Morgan and Traveon Beck lead a big play secondary. Gorman is loaded on both sides of the ball. UCLA commit Alize Jones is the most athletic tight end in the country and can really stretch the field. Wide out Cordell Broadus is another national recruit and also watch for sophomore transfer Tyjon Lindsey to be the teams big play receiver threat. Danny Hong will get the start at quarterback but look for another sophomore transfer, Tate Martell, who has already committed to Washington, to push for playing time. Jackson Perry leads a big physical offensive line and Notre Dame commit Nicco Fertitta is one of the top safeties in the region.

Two of the Northwest's best, the top two teams in Washington and Oregon, will go down to Southern California to take on state powers, with Bellevue (Wash.) taking on Gardena (Calif.) Serra and Portland (Ore.) Central Catholic visiting Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco. So the top game taking place in the Northwest this year will be when Mission Hills (Calif.) Alemany visits Sammamish (Wash.) Eastside Catholic. There are a ton of Pac-12 commits in the game and some of the best players in the Northwest playing. Alemany will make the trek up to the Northwest and will bring a pair of four-star receivers in Desean Holmes (USC commit) and Dominic Davis (Washington State commit). Eastside Catholic has Scout 100 for 2016 four-star Brandon Wellington, a commit to Washington, on both sides of the ball, 2016 Scout 300 quarterback Harley Kirsch and Montana commits Cody Baker and Alex Neale on the offensive line. Later in the year, Eastside Catholic will host American Fork (Utah), but for now, the visit by Alemany will be the marquee matchup.

Mark this one on your calendars: September 19th- Phoenix Mountain Pointe against Chandler. The top two ranked schools in the state in the preseason and both are absolutely loaded with FBS talent. Mt. Pointe is the defending state champion and their top prospect is running back Paul Lucas has legit 4.4 speed. He has one of the best offensive lines in the state to block for him and it all starts with left tackle Nick Carman. Carman has added 30 pounds to his frame and stacked up 14 offers in the Spring. Chandler quarterback Bryce Perkins has more weapons then he knows what to do with. Perkins, a dual-threat passer committed to Arizona State, legitimately has five FBS/FCS receivers to throw to and a national level recruit in the backfield in Chase Lucas. Between these two teams, 20 players could end up playing division-one football.

St. John Bosco vs. Bishop Gorman in September. This match up has the makings of an instant classic. According to the USA Today Preseason Top 25, Gorman is #1 and Bosco is #2, can it get any better? The game is packed with D1 players, including two five star UCLA commits who will be going head to head with Josh Rosen and Alize Jones. You'd be hard pressed to find a game in 2014 with more talent at the field at one time.
